EY’s People Advisory Services – Reward practice helps clients develop relevant and flexible tax-compliant remuneration, benefit, and incentive approaches. Our multi-disciplinary integrated team of actuaries, human resource, compensation and tax professionals provide specialized services in the areas of pension, benefits, HR, tax and compensation.

We are currently seeking a Manager to join our team to develop and lead multiple and challenging compensation consulting engagements for a diverse client base.

The successful candidate will provide tax advice related to the review, design and implementation of executive compensation plans, incentive plans, and bonus plans and consult on employee mobility issues. You will team with the existing Canadian compensation tax team, as well as with EY’s global network of compensation professionals.

You would be expected to contribute to the growth and maintenance of ongoing client relationships.

Qualifications:

To qualify, candidates must have:

  • A bachelor's degree with a graduate degree and/or professional designation preferred (LL.B. or C.A.)

  • 2-5 years of related compensation consulting experience with an emphasis on assessing the tax implications of compensation packages or other incentive programs

  • US Tax experience would be an asset but not a requirement

  • Understanding of employee mobility issues

  • Strong tax research and analytical skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic team-oriented environment
