Manages advanced past due accounts while maintaining dealer and customer relationships for future business. Negotiates payment commitments and recommends repossessions. Manages assigned territory to maintain low levels of delinquency. This position is located in the Oakville office.
Analyzes each advanced past due account to effect collections while adhering to legal regulations and company policies.
Gathers relevant market information in order to consider different options to solving delinquency issue.
Reviews credit bureau reports and customer payment history to determine the customer's ability to meet payment obligations.
Negotiates payment plan modifications according to established policies and procedures.
Recommends and/or authorizes repossessions or deferrals using knowledge of collateral values and input from dealers and customers.
Manages multiple stakeholders to maintain low levels of delinquency.
Bilingual (French & English).
Ability to perform telephone work plus the capacity to quickly change focus on work activities.
Knowledge of Credit operations.
Strong MS Excel and MS Word skills.
Hours of operation are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with occasional late shift of 9:00 to 5:30pm when required.
Collections or customer service experience.
Preference will be given to candidates with a working knowledge of InfoLease and T-value.
Degree in a Business/Management discipline.
Knowledge of finance programs, dealer agreements and dealer reserve procedures, ideally including the processes followed at John Deere Financial.
Knowledge of collection tools and techniques, deferral policies, legal restrictions and contract terms and Company policies and procedures.
Working knowledge of CACS.
Experience with consumer and credit bureau reporting.
This position will be posted for a minimum of 7 business days and unposted when a qualified pool of candidates is achieved.
