Our Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team works with clients to manage their capital agenda to drive competitive advantage and increased returns. As part of a global team of 10,000 professionals in 100 countries you will advise clients on preserving, optimising, raising or investing capital. Major groups (or, as we call them, sub-service lines and competencies) within TAS include Mergers and Acquisition Services, Project Finance, Restructuring Services, Operational Transaction Services, Transaction Support, Transaction Tax, and Valuation and Business Modelling.

Leveraging an extensive global network, our M&A team provides sector-focused advice on the sale process from strategic positioning to close, and we help execute acquisitions, alliances and mergers. As part of this team you may also advise C-suite executives and boards on evaluating strategic alternatives in the context of transactions.

is growing its Mergers & Acquisitions team, we are currently seeking a

Manager or Associate Director to join our Sydney team. As part of our mergers

& acquisitions services team, you’ll help leading organisations to achieve

their transaction objectives. With new challenges every day, you’ll gain

valuable experience across a range of industries, working on projects from

reviews and acquisitions to financings, takeovers and mergers. In our friendly,

collaborative environment, you’ll receive the support, formal training and

coaching you need to progress quickly along the career path you choose.

About you

In your role as a Mergers & Acquisitions Manager

or Associate Director you’ll:

  • Providestrategic advice to clients across a range of industries on public andprivate company acquisitions, divestments, private equity, strategiccapital raisings and IPOs

  • Executetransactions and drive the team’s deal origination activities anddevelopment

  • Developthe team’s staff including mentoring and on the job training

  • Contributeto the national Mergers & Acquisitions team specialising is anindustry sector of your choice

We're looking for people with the following


  • Demonstratedexperience in executing M&A transactions

  • Ahigh level of commercial acumen and strong financial valuation andanalytical skills

  • Tertiaryqualifications in Finance, Commerce or similar disciplines
