The Role:

Senior Director, Strategy & Corporate Development

The Location:New York, NY or Charlottesville, VA

TheTeam:The Market Intelligence Strategy & Corporate Development team is charged with guiding the overall strategy of the Market Intelligence division of S&P Global. This team focuses on driving strategic planning, competitive intelligence, M&A, and strategic investments/partnerships with emerging, fast-growing businesses. This small team is responsible for evaluating major new investments for Market Intelligence and exploring the necessary requirements for penetrating new market segments.

TheImpact:You will lead our competitive intelligence efforts, deeply engage in the strategic planning process, and interface closely with internal business segment leads to valuate key growth or investment opportunities. This role is critical in contributing to our organic and inorganic business strategy and has significant impact on the business's ability to implement products, platforms, and programs that drive future revenue results.

Own competitive intelligence for the Market Intelligence division

Serve as point person for cross-division and corporate strategic initiatives


Basic Qualifications:

10-15 years of related experience

Demonstrated experience leading competitive intelligence and strategic planning efforts; strong financial acumen

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior work experience leading businesses in an information services company along with investment banking and/or strategy consulting

Demonstrated interest in new technologies
