Corporate Risk provides leadership, enhances communications, assists with problem identification and solutions, and shares best practices. In addition, this group provides an enterprise-wide view of risk, assists management and our Board of Directors in identifying and monitoring risks that may affect multiple lines of business, and takes appropriate action when business activities exceed the risk tolerance of the company.

OR&C Risk Identification & Assessment is seeking a Tableau Developer to join our team. We are seeking a highly-motivated professional with experience in dashboard and report development. You will be a key contributor to deliver formal and informal business intelligence to the operational risk community, as you help deliver value-added reporting and analytics via Tableau.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work collaboratively with peers on the OR&C Risk Identification and Assessment team to identify dashboard strategies, and develop visualization formats, report layouts, and analysis presentations

  • Support planned and ad-hoc reporting requests and initiatives

  • Look for opportunities to migrate existing legacy reports into Tableau

  • Coordinate test plans to ensure accuracy of report logic and reported data

  • Help to develop and manage the Tableau semantic layer through reusable optimized data sources

  • Utilize blended data from multiple sources to analyze and discover new opportunities and enhancements

  • Develop a front-end navigation scheme to support a formal dashboard portfolio strategy, including strategic, tactical, and operational dashboards

  • Design, review and ongoing maintenance and support of data quality reports working directly with reporting resources

  • Partner with SHRP reporting and data warehouse teams to understand data structures, tables, etc., along with best practices/standards to optimize dashboard performance

  • Coordinate production of periodic and ad hoc operational risk performance reports for senior management, including trend analysis and recommendations

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of business systems analysis experience, business systems design experience, or a combination of both

  • 3+ years of Tableau experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Knowledge and understanding of technical documentation: creation of detailed design and technical artifacts

  • Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear manner
