Job Description

  1. Greets visitors, determines nature of visit, and assists accordingly.

  2. Answers, screens, and forwards telephone calls. Provides information, schedules appointments, and takes messages, as required.

  3. Receives, sorts, distributes, and prepares mail and courier deliveries.

  4. Enters basic information into department computer system.

  5. Transmits various documents using computer, mail, and/or fax.

  6. Files and maintains records, as required.

  7. Performs related duties as required.

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.

• Prior clerical experience, preferred.

• Typing 30 wpm and/or data entry skills (80 kpm), required.

• Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with customers, required.
