Bank of America Portfolio Management Officer I in Los Angeles, California
This position supports Community Development Lending. Candidate should have some experience in the Commercial Real Estate Industry, specifically Community Development Lending. Office location is Los Angeles, CA.
The Portfolio Management Officer I (PMO I) is a role within the Credit Products group of Community Development Lending (CDL). CDL is part of Commercial Real Estate Banking (CREB) at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Credit facilities include bridge, term, and construction loans nationwide to affordable housing developers.
The primary responsibility of the PMO I is the ongoing analysis and monitoring of the existing term debt portfolio in CDL. This includes analysis of both project performance, sponsor financial and operational capacity, covenant compliance, and other ongoing monitoring and regulatory reporting functions. Responsible for completing risk ratings of loans. Supports Portfolio Management team with completion of sponsor financial spreading, collateral inspections, collection of market data, and property operating data spreading. The PMO I interfaces with external clients for financial reporting requirements and analysis and with the rest of the Bank client team, including the Relationship Manager, Credit Products Officer and Credit Support Associate. Responsible for being knowledgeable of and adhering to all Bank policies, procedures, and regulations. A qualified PMO I candidate has 1-3 years of real estate finance or asset management experience in the affordable housing industry.
Candidate MUST have experience in the Commercial Real Estate Industry, specifically Community Development Lending
BS/BA degree preferred
1-3 years of solid experience in financial analysis and portfolio management
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
