Position Summary

The Intern Organizational Effectiveness is responsible for assisting with the execution of Organizational Effectiveness (OE) programs and projects including Leadership Development courses, Learning Management System (LMS) administration, E-Learning development, marketing of internal programs, and managing relationships with our E-Learning Business Partner. This position will provide support to the OE team and internal customers to ensure our programs are successful in hiring, inspiring, growing and measuring our Talent.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Act as day-to-day support on leadership development programs, including Principles Of Leadership (POL), Inspire with Impact, Leading Edge, Design Doing etc.

  • Support Organizational Effectiveness team with administration of the Learning Management System and Skillsoft On-line Learning Library including data preparation and communications

  • Develop support materials and communications for current and new OE programs (i.e. handouts, learning journals, presentations)

  • Assist Instructional Designer with coordination of customized e-learning

  • Respond to ad-hoc requests and partner with Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and Crewmember Insights to ensure alignment with overall Talent programs

  • Research benchmarking data and best practices to enhance our Leadership and Organizational Development programs

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Psychology or related field

  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and diplomacy

  • Attention to detail in composing and creating reports, surveys, power point presentations and marketing communications

  • Ability to quickly learn new technology and software programs

  • Strong research, analytical, problem-solving and decision making capabilities

  • Ability to be flexible, multi-task, prioritize, and manage multiple activities simultaneously in a fast-paced, changing environment

  • Strong team player with the ability to take initiative and work well independently

  • Effective written, verbal and presentation skills

  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)

  • Able to pass a ten (10) year background check and pre-employment drug test

  • Must be able to occasionally work flexible hours in order to set up for training and break down training rooms i.e., 7:30 am start or 6:30 pm finish.

  • Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business, HR or I/O Psychology, Psychology, Adult Education preferred

  • One (1) years Business and/or Human Resources experience

  • Previous experience in instructional design and curriculum development

  • Previous administration, research and/or project management experience

  • Experience organizing/coordinating multiple projects while providing exceptional customer service

  • Interacting daily with people at different levels within the organization, including developing and maintaining ongoing relationships internally and externally

  • Knowledge of SAP, social media platforms, HRIS, and/or desktop publishing

  • Providing high-quality customer service in a matrix structure with a commitment to meeting or exceeding expectations

  • Knowledge of Learning and Development concepts including Leadership Behaviors, Organizational Development, Social Collaboration and Innovation

Crewmember Expectations:

  • Regular attendance and punctuality

  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice

  • Well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance

  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft
