We are recruiting a Clinical Specialist for our DePuy Synthes business covering the Manchester region.
You will provide in theatre case support across the region as directed by the Sales Specialist and/or Regional Sales Manager; thereby providing accurate information regarding all products and their indications (i.e. surgical techniques) to Health Care Professionals – Consultants, surgical trainees and Nursing staff. You will provide a first class service and seamless support to customers including training, stock checks and timely deliveries to ensure the operation proceeds successfully.
Key areas of responsibility:
Assist in the promotion and safe and effective use of products through regular theatre attendance, customer education meetings and training sessions
Partner with Sales Specialists to identify business opportunities across the portfolio in key focus accounts. Assist in the successful conversion of such opportunities
Protect and grow the business as defined by the business strategy
Proactively build and develop relationships with Clinical stakeholders
Develop a portfolio of Key Opinion Leaders across the product portfolio
Provide necessary support at events as required
Partner with the Professional Education Manager to develop and maintain associated KOL relationships as well as championing the effective use of the Company’s comprehensive Professional Education offering
Understand technical information pertinent to the procedure and product platform
Maintain up-to-date market and industry knowledge
Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver business plan
Collaborate with other clinical specialists and commercial teams to deliver co-ordinated approach where applicable
Respond to requests for support from other customer facing colleagues and proactively share information and insights where customer may be shared across regions
Contribute and collaborate with colleagues in regional team to work collaboratively towards regional business planning goals
Timely completion of business reporting and administration as required

Education & Experience Required:
Nursing Qualification/Experience (desirable)
Degree (desirable, not essential)
Experience of working in the theatre environment
Understanding of the secondary care environment
ABPI (where appropriate)
