Corporate Services and Real Estate (CSRE) acquires, develops and manages the firm’s global real estate portfolio and delivers innovative and commercially managed market development, document management and hospitality related services.

  • Business Servicesdelivers high-quality, commercially managed services to internal partners throughout the firm.

  • Real Estateplans, builds and operates the firm's facilities worldwide, and is critical to ensuring that our core businesses operate efficiently 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Finance,comprised of regionally based teams and a central hub in Bangalore, India, provides financial analysis, decision support, procurement, contract administration and reporting for all initiatives within the Services Division and for business partners across the firm.

  • Procurement/Vendor Management Office ensures that the firm has established and is consistently applying a structured global framework to effectively manage vendor risk.

  • Administration, Communications, and Environment and Social Governanceoversee organizational development, internal and client communications and environmental, social and governance commitments.

Business Overview

The Document Management Group (DMG) is a sub-function of the Business Services group, within the CSRE Division. The Document Management Group provides a portfolio of secure services that supports Workplace Productivity, Client Communications and Process Outsourcing. Some of the activities include:

  • Selection and management of outsourced vendors who perform services across 15 DMG business lines

  • Oversight of an onsite/offshore vendor population in excess of 1,000 people, based across 17 countries

  • Accountability for a significant global operating spend

  • Ownership of key client stakeholder relationships across each division

  • Risk management, with particular focus on the handling of material non-public information across the DMG business lines

  • Development of business strategy, innovation and expense management opportunities across the DMG business

Principal Responsibilities

  • Support the DMG team with the day-to-day management of our business across the Americas region

  • Manage DMG vendor contracts, relationships and operational performance

  • Partner with our Technology colleagues to help drive team initiatives as a global technology liaison

  • Bring new ideas to the DMG business – support the team to explore and develop innovations and new technologies

  • Work closely with DMG ‘risk partners’ (Finance, Compliance, Tech Risk, Legal, Security) to ensure compliance with our business governance controls

  • Support the planning, project management and delivery of DMG Business Plan initiatives

  • Work with the CSRE Finance group to monitor DMG operating expenses and budget performance

Experience / Skills

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a business management role - experience within the Document Management industry or an expert understanding of any DMG business line(s) is preferable

  • A passion for innovation and comfortability working with new technologies and facing off with technical partners

  • Previous experience in drafting and negotiating legal contracts is desirable

  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills

  • Ability to balance multiple projects and deliverables, working within a fast-paced environment

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, proficient in Excel

  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
