Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems Inc. (HCS) is currently recruiting for a Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Customer Solutions with the preferred location of in a West Coast U.S. city with consideration given to Central and Eastern US cities.

Johnson & Johnson Customer & Logistics Services (CLS) is a global Supply Chain organization that supports operating units across all of the Johnson & Johnson Family of Companies. In addition, CLS oversees critical business enablers, including how we gather and manage supply chain master data, safe and secure supply chain practices, product identification standards, and market/channel access capabilities. CLS supports all three sectors of Johnson & Johnson: Medical Device & Diagnostics, Pharmaceutical, and Consumer Products. This team is represented in multiple countries, and continues to grow globally in both visibility and responsibility. The CLS team reports to Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain and partners closely with groups throughout the supply chain organization.

The Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Customer Solutions is a field based role responsible for leading cross-functional teams to deploy supply chain customer solutions to segmented IDN customer accounts. The cross-functional teams may consist of field based SC Customer Solutions Sr. Analysts, Regional SC Solutions Director, Customer Solutions Director, Strategic Account Management, Sales, Finance, IT, Contract Strategy & Management, Customer Credit Management, E-Commerce, Transportation, Distribution and other subject matter experts.

The Sr. Manager has deep knowledge of the end to end supply chain processes, systems, data and metrics and is the owner / expert of the 20 to 30 SC Customer Solutions.

This Sr. Manager, Supply Chain Customer Solutions is responsible for:

  • Leading the diagnostic assessment of the customer’s supply chain processes and practices to determine the appropriate SC solution Providing expert counsel to regional account management leadership teams

  • Directly interfacing with customers to understand their Supply Chain needs

  • Translating the customer needs into applicable solutions through leading and coordinating solution development activities with Account Leads and Supply Chain and Logistics professionals

  • Development, deployment, strategy and maintenance of the CPFR / Vendor Managed Inventory programs

  • Vendor relationship management as well as the people leadership and direction of the VMI program

  • Developing and deploying Supply Chain performance metrics across the end to end contract to cash continuum and will establish improvement targets, track and trend performance and take appropriate action to meet business goals and objectives

  • Developing SC Customer Solution strategy, staying current on industry trends and collaborating across multi-functional teams to develop new SC Customer Solutions that may be scaled across the US Region and potential to OUS regions in alignment with overall commercial and CLS strategic plan

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required, a focused degree in Supply Chain or Engineering is preferred

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of overall business experience is required

  • A minimum of six (6) years of logistics experience is preferred

  • Previous people management and/or supervisory experience is preferred

  • Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications are preferred

  • Project management experience is required, a PMP certification is preferred

  • High level of proficiency in MS excel (ability to create Pivot Tables, V-look ups) and other MS Office suite products (Word, Access, Powerpoint) is required

  • Working knowledge of SAP is preferred

  • Understanding of end-to-end supply chain is preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required

  • Ability to collaborate and experience working with cross functional teams is required

  • Knowledge of Supply Chain, Order Management and Logistics is preferred

  • Knowledge of Finance, Accounts receivable, deduction management, cash applications and collections are preferred

  • Ability to travel domestically up to 35% of the time
