Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for a Director, Health Technology Programs located in Fremont, California.
As technology becomes a core part of every aspect of healthcare, the Technology Programs team is responsible for owning program start-up and execution activities to help execute on J&J’s ambitious goal of substantially improving human health at global scale. Armed with your communication and project management acumen, you will consolidate and coordinate the project team work, document project deliverables, strategies transforming the team’s knowledge into impactful presentations and owning the overall team schedules, kan bans / action items. This role has unique oversight into strategic work. The most effective Program Manager is an an effective communicator and organizer who can eliminate obstacles, maintain a realistic view of complex initiatives, and manage the entire process and communication for the team. You are on the front line of engaging with strategy and product development initiatives helping bring innovative technology-based health and wellness solutions to market across J&J’s consumer, device and pharma businesses. Your knowledge of the program strategy, Agile, collaborative facilitation and cross-functional team leadership and your technology product development experience will help shape solutions that touch billions of lives.
You will work closely with J&J’s Product, Engineering, Marketing, Communications, Finance, Regulatory, Commercial, R&D, and Legal teams on new initiatives. You execute to ensure the team’s success and you employ your creativity to ensure the team’s ideas and products are communicated effectively. You have a track record of delivery, a sense of urgency to drive quality programs forward and a creative mind.
You will engage when programs kick-off, leading the day-to-day documentation of the team’s progress, and developing communications for key project milestones. You are a key member in bringing it all together for the team.
Define/document overall Agile sprints
Plan for assist in workshop facilitation
Produce workshop materials, collate workshop outputs and publish final products
Set up and track Kanban items (e.g. Trello boards), action items. Execute on project management follow-ups
Prepare impactful communication materials
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on technology project management is required.
Experience in Agile, scrum methods.
Strong organizational and effective communication skills (excellent written, verbal and presentation skills)
Proven ability to plan for and facilitate workshops
Self-starter and able to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment independently
Technical skills and strong technology product sensibilities is preferred
