People Advisory Services (PAS) is one of the fastest growing teams in EY, providing end-to-end offerings to assist our clients in delivering their HR and workforce transformation and organisational agendas.

Our PAS team supports clients to enable an organisation to best execute its strategy, our focus areas include:

  • Complete lifecycle HR transformation programs and enabling technologies

  • Strategic Workforce change programs (including transactions)

  • Culture change programs

  • Talent and Learning optimisation

The team is working with some of the biggest names in the financial services sector as they address the challenges posed by the markets and regulators over the past years to deliver real, sustainable change across all levels of their organisations.

Your key responsibilities

Client responsibilities

  • Complete full life cycle delivery of Transformation engagements

  • Demonstrate an understanding of operational environments in businesses

  • Support and work as part of account teams

  • Demonstrate experience of leading the completion of client deliverables

  • Focus on achieving project / programme goals and objectives to exceed client expectations

  • Adept at overcoming issues and barriers

Business Development responsibilities

  • Good insight of the market and purchasing trends

  • Ability to identify new business and develop existing engagements

  • Contribute to business development and client pursuit efforts by preparing proposals and delivering presentations to potential clients

Skills and attributes for success

  • Experienced team leader who has successfully led, motivated, coached and developed high performing teams

  • Ability to analyse complex problems and to design and deliver insightful, practical and sustainable solutions

  • Strong stakeholder management, communications and influencing skills

  • Capable project manager able to structure, plan and monitor projects / workstreams to meet client expectations and mitigate delivery risks and issues

  • Highly experienced management consultant / Transformation professional with relevant experience advising on a range of large scale initiatives and business change projects gained working in a professional services firm, global consultancy and/or large private and/or public sector organisation

  • Direct experience working within a large, complex, multinational organisation is desirable

  • Sector specialisation: strong insight into Financial Services is a strong preference and highly desirable

  • Holds a primary degree is desirable

  • Post graduate degrees and professional qualifications are also highly desirable e.g. MBA, CIPD, ACCA, CIMA, CTA

To qualify for the role you must have

We are looking for people with a broad range of experience that also have specialisms in at least 2 of the following areas:

  • Learning and Development: Experience working within an L&D consultancy role or L&D management. Ideally possessing a CIPD or Coaching qualification and experience across all stages of the L&D cycle. Knowledge of developing and implementing blended learning programmes across large complex global businesses is essential

  • Change Management: Experience across the multiple lifecycle stages of large scale transformation projects, including strategy definition, change design, communications, stakeholder management, implementation and ongoing embedding activities

  • Talent Management: Experience advising clients on talent interventions, including workforce strategy, organisational development, and talent strategy, within large and complex organisations

  • Organisational design: Experience in defining and organising the structure of companies, role profiles and allocation of resources to improve efficiency and increase productivity

  • HR Transformation / Technology: Experience across the complete lifecycle of HR Transformation projects, from concept through execution and ongoing operations. Delivering with agile and waterfall methodologies and incorporating the latest HR technologies

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience of working on projects gained working within a professional services firm, global consultancy firm and/or large private and/or public sector organisations
