The Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Chief Operations office is responsible for providing business operation, execution, functional and control support to the CRE Organization. CRE is comprised by three lines of business, Real Estate Banking (REB), Commercial Term Lending (CTL) and Community Development Banking (CDB).

This key role will help support and manage Commercial Real Estate (CRE) employee development programs and initiatives. This role’s primary focus will be to develop and maintain CRE’s Training Strategy based on the needs of the three CRE business. This is high-visibility role will interface with managers and staff in the three CRE lines of business. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in managing & developing training programs with the ability to prioritize deliverables, deliver high quality work, have strong communication, and presentation skills.

Role includes:

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive CRE Training Strategy

  • Assist the Program Director in the management and development of the CRE programs including, progress monitoring, dashboard reporting, communications, and overall program administration.

  • Create / update training modules/materials in conjunction with SME’s to meet CRE needs

  • Build training curriculums based on role, career progression, business processes, etc.

  • Become a central point / liaison for all CRE training needs

  • Develop, maintain and update a platform for content delivery

  • Management of program & initiative deliverables

  • Attend, lead & facilitate meetings and program sessions as needed

  • Ensure program reporting and information delivery is timely, efficient and accurate

  • Interface with Line of Business Managers across the CRE Organization and CB wide

  • Coordinate session’s logistics which may include traveling to program locations nationwide.

  • Provide daily, tactical support of the projects and programs led by the department

  • Prepare, maintain & distribute Executive reporting materials to Senior management.

  • Manage / Prepare communications with program stakeholders and Senior management

  • Some travel will be required in this role

  • Must have a strong passion for training

  • 5+ years of prior experience, preferably in a training program management or related work experience.

  • Tech Savvy with experience using tools targeted for training delivery such as Adobe meetings, Captiva 9, etc.

  • Advanced expertise with Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint/ Pitch Pro and Visio.

  • Excellent program management abilities in combination with proven teamwork and influential skills

  • Strong communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and develop strong partnership with multiple levels of employees.

  • Excellent organizational skills in order to handle multiple tasks concurrently

  • Ability to lead meetings/ conference calls

  • Ability to build strong internal networks and navigate across various lines of business

  • Self-Starter with the ability to work independently

  • Accuracy and attention to detail is critical

  • Strong problem solving/analytical skills

  • Ability to grasp concepts quickly

  • Strong technology skills

  • Undergraduate degree preferred
