The WIM Credit Administration focus is delivering on the clients’ overall financial needs relying on the depth of relationship to create strong credit performance. The Credit Risk Reporting and Analytics team reports up to the Senior Risk Officer of WIM and manages the credit portfolios consisting of Commercial products and Consumer products (including residential mortgages). The Reporting and Analytics group's mission is to provide credit risk analysis and reporting to management, other WIM team members and internal/external auditors/regulators to facilitate decision-making, risk assessment and mitigation.

The Reporting and Analytics Team is looking for a Credit Risk Analytics Manager 3 to manage the team responsible for Loss Forecasting and Basel. The Loss Forecasting team is responsible for development, implementation, documentation and maintaining processes, controls and systems established for credit loss forecasting production deliverables. WIM Loss Forecasting provides input into the Corporate Credit BLF, ACL and CCAR required forecasts. The Basel team is responsible for the WIM Other Consumer Basel submission and partnering with CLG for the WIM Consumer Real Estate Basel submission. This position will also be responsible for partnering with the Modeling CoE for all LOB responsibilities related to Loss and Basel models.

Responsibilities include managing the Loss Forecasting and Basel teams which:

  • Develop, test and implement loss forecasting processes (note that these are not statistical models)

  • Develop and maintain a set of standard reports and metrics to monitor performance of loss forecasting and provide analysis of results

  • Develop, maintain, and document controls - both quality controls on the processes and results, and G&O controls to track attestations and approvals

  • Develop and/or maintain documentation of processes to meet the G&O framework requirements

  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external teams including technical, corporate oversight, auditors and regulators

  • Partner with Corporate Model Development Centers of Excellence (COEs) to develop the knowledge necessary to use and assess model output specific to WIM portfolios, also to assess and attest to models’ applicability and performance

  • Identify and implement improvements that optimize and streamline submission processes

  • Serve as a project leader and drive other analytic and/or data initiatives

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of risk reporting experience, risk analytics experience, or a combination of both

  • 4+ years of management experience, in a risk environment

Desired Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree or higher in a quantitative discipline

  • 5+ years of financial services industry experience

  • Ability to motivate staff to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities

  • Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills including analyzing complex data

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
