Wells Fargo Systems Support Analyst 4 in Charlotte, North Carolina

The Financial Systems Technology team within the Enterprise Finance & Information Technology group (EFIT) runs an installation of Simcorp Dimension as Wells Fargo’s system of record for the management of the bank owned Assets For Sale (AFS) portfolio. We are seeking a senior Systems Support Analyst to join the FST production support team to provide software, platform and testing support to the Corporate Finance Securities, Operations & Accounting (SO&A) group end-user community.

This position’s responsibilities will include:

  • Primary daily support of the SimCorp Dimension financial accounting system

  • Troubleshooting software issues and the resolution of moderately complex technical issues

  • Analyze and troubleshoot various Oracle performance issues

  • Acts as an escalation point for junior staff for troubleshooting of issues and/or production, application or system problems for various front-end applications, downstream and upstream applications and others

  • Coordinates resolution with users, vendors and internal service groups

  • Participates in overall systems integration testing. Provides input on scope of testing scripts. Maintains testing data for SIT and UAT environments

  • Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area and oversees updating and testing of the business continuation plan

  • Batch processing support to include ad-hoc requests

  • Development and documentation of new and existing operational procedures

  • Author end-user communications for system outages

Ideal candidate will be an individual who takes ownership of a process and accountability for its day to day activities, is able to work independently or as part of a team.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of systems support analysis experience

  • 2+ years of customer service experience

  • 2+ years of Oracle experience

  • 1+ year of Perl or Shell experience

  • 3+ years of application production support experience

Desired Qualifications:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • A BS/BA degree or higher

  • Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

  • 1+ year of SharePoint experience

  • Knowledge and understanding of project management principles and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Knowledge and understanding of distributed servers platform

  • Knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and policies

  • 1+ year of Remedy experience

  • 1+ year of HP ALM experience

  • Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities

  • 2+ years of PAC2000 experience

  • Flexibility to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays
