Hedge Fund Services Departmental Outline:
Hedge Fund Services (Fund Accounting) is a centre of expertise providing a Fund Accounting operational service to multiple clients and fund types on behalf of JP Morgan CIB. The Fund Accounting Team is responsible for generating, validating, and releasing NAV share prices for clients while maintaining an accurate accounting record.
The Supervisor/Specialist is an integral member of the Fund Accounting team who will be primarily responsible for the daily collection, verification, and review of the NAV and accounting records. The Supervisor/Specialist will perform a second level analysis of all issues identified and raised within the team and interact with the various Centralised Teams, where necessary, to ensure accuracy of the NAV and timely delivery. The Supervisor/Specialist will utilize key business knowledge to make informed decisions thereby reducing the exposure to risk whilst adhering to the strict reporting deadlines. Responsible for the daily oversight of team members and the allocation of tasks within the team to ensure all deadlines / department objectives are met. Where required, the Supervisor will escalate issues to a Fund Accounting Manager for further validation.
