Lockheed Martin College Student Tech Spec in Boulder, Colorado

This position is a Space Systems Company position on a Government/Contractor team for the SBIRS Contractor Operations Support (KOS) contracts performing technical planning, system integration, verification and validation and engineering support to Launch and Early Orbit Testing as well as the real time interim operations of SBIRS assets. The successful candidate will provide technical capability to support GEO Satellite and Payload as well as HEO Payload ground product development in the SBIRS KOS Offices in Denver, CO with additional regular support in Aurora, CO. Development of Ground Products involves an understanding of SBIRS Ground HW and SW Architecture, TT&C and Mission Management, and how these components work together to support operations. Provide Ground Product sustainment support to the LEOT community, perform functional analysis of discrepancies and translate user feedback into updates of technical product content. Provides support to LOE tasking provided to the CTF contractors by government.

Tasks will contribute to the completion of milestones associated with GEO and HEO transfer to operations (TTO). Responsible for providing solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity, working across organizational divisions and cultures to ensure the proper balance of technical details, solution effectiveness and KOS schedule demands. Provide technical support for Rehearsals, System Tests, and on-orbit operations for Launch, Early Orbit Testing, and anomaly resolution.

Occasional shift work may be required.

Basic Qualifications Acceptable degree programs include only science and technology related disciplines such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Cyber Security or related discipline. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information, including US Citizenship. Ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance required for this role.
