Janssen Pharmaceuticals (Janssen Supply Chain Beerse), a Johnson & Johnson company is recruiting for a PMO Analyst within the Engineering & Maintenance department (EMa). The PMO Analyst will report directly to the Sr. Engineering Manager. The PMO Analyst leads and supports all capabilities for the PPM (Project Portfolio Management) Process and System Application, Instantis. The overall purpose of the PMO Analyst role is to provide Project Support / PMO disciplines to ensure a high quality of service to our customers.

The PMO Analyst is accountable for:

  • Support Project Portfolio Management Office (PMO) lead in all aspects of financial reporting, data analysis and controls

  • Liaison contact with JJSC (Johnson & Johnson Supply Chain) Enterprise PMO

  • Leads support effort with INSTANTIS (e.g. system resource pool, design of new functionality/reporting, testing of upgrades, etc.)

  • Managing and facilitating Administrative INSTANTIS tasks (e.g.; give access to new users; Portfolio Office/PPM page; etc.).

  • End user support:

  • INSTANTIS users with their questions, ad hoc incidents and/or requests (Helpdesk function)

  • Project Portfolio Leaders, PPM Leads & Resource Manager with INSTANTIS reports & analysis capabilities

  • Coordinating PPM Calendar & dates

  • Monitoring & Validating INSTANTIS data with pre-defined data quality validation & sanity data routines

  • Recommend effective methods of reporting financial performance and usage metrics using data modeling, dashboards and statistical analysis

  • Collecting and maintaining project data specific to scope, schedule, cost, resources, quality and risk.

  • Maintaining & publishing PPM reports and dashboards

  • Extract raw usage and financial data from business databases and data warehouse and perform analytics to produce meaningful reports that enable decision making by the PPM leadership and Sponsors.

  • Analyze reports for the purpose of maintaining expenditure controls

  • Creating and Maintaining:

  • All communications

  • All Training and Training facilitation

  • PPM Process Manual (training documentation; Job Aids, Videos, Best Practice Guides Governance Framework)

  • Correct PPM distribution lists for efficient communication

  • PPM SharePoint site maintenance

  • Supporting Project Leaders and Portfolio Leaders by validating the financial numbers against the current budget.

  • Provide analytical linkage between resource capacity and headcount as needed

  • Provide expertise to the Project Leader during the development of the Business Case

  • Support the CAR (Capital Appropriation Request) preparation as needed and provide assistance during the CAR Approval Process

  • Assist the Project Leader at project close-out with Benefit realization and financial close-out activities.

Kwalificaties

Work Experience:

  • Work experience in a professional services industry, preferred

  • 4 plus years of experience in project administration, program administration and/or a PMO

  • 1 to 2 years of experience on small projects

Technical Skills, Knowledge and Qualifications:

  • University degree in Business Administration, Engineering or Science

  • Theoretical understanding of project management methodology, tools, techniques and terminology

  • Working toward a relevant program/project management qualification (e.g., Prince Foundation, CAPM) is preferred

  • Quick learner and good eye for details

  • Should be comfortable with maintaining, manipulating and analyzing large data sets, therefore thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint is a must

  • Good numerical ability and logical thinking

  • Ability to summarize and present information in a concise and clear fashion

  • Good analysis & reporting skills

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills

  • Should have worked with global customers

  • Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and positive attitude to challenges would be added advantage.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English

  • Proficiency in written and spoken Dutch
