WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
We are currently seeking candidates for Brand Manager roles in both Brand Marketing and Marketing Innovation:
Brand Marketing accountabilities include:
Aiding in the development of brand strategies and leading commercialization of brand plans with internal and external partners, including advertising and promotions agencies
Reporting and analyses of sales consumption (Nielsen/ WM Source), demand trends, and key brand initiatives
Delivering and management of social media, mobile, paid search and KRM strategy; oversee and optimize implementation and execution with cross functional partners
Partnering with key functional leads in finance, supply chain, promotions, sales, experience planning, and marketing research/insights
Marketing Innovation accountabilities include:
Leading transforming and breakthrough innovation projects, from insight development to launch
Working with brand and leadership teams to develop innovation strategies and innovation pipeline
Leading cross-functional teams on innovation, renovation and packaging optimization projects
Leading internal initiatives to drive continuous improvement in innovation processes and capabilities
Partnering with key functional leads in R&D, finance, supply chain, sales and marketing research/insights
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Marketing, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field
Previous project management work experience
Understanding of marketing and business functions with a CPG Company
Ability to work in conditions which include multiple priorities, extended work schedules, and specific time constraints
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Demonstrated strength in written and oral communication
MBA or Master’s Degree in Marketing or related field
Experience in Consumer Packaged Goods strongly preferred
Brand Marketing combined with Marketing Innovation experience
WHAT ELSE DO I NEED TO KNOW?
· Multiple roles may be available; candidates will be matched to specific roles based on individual candidate skill sets and interests;
· These roles are be based in Battle Creek, MI
· Potential for travel of up to 20%
