Within EY's IT Risk Assurance practice, we are currently seeking Seniors IT Audit professional to participate Internal and External audits services. This includes:

  • Financial Audit IT Integration – Execution of IT related audit procedures (including IT related procedures beyond ITGCs) in support of financial statement audits and reporting on internal controls over financial reporting (integrated and non-integrated audits).

  • Internal Controls Attestations – Focus on providing an opinion on management’s assertion over business processes and controls including IT General Controls.

  • Service Organization Controls Reporting (SOCR) – Audit procedures over organizational processes and controls, including Service Organizational Controls Reports including SOC 1, SOC 2, SOC 3 audits, including other standards.

The successful candidate will utilize their knowledge and expertise to review project activities relative to each project management process area; initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing to ensure consistent application of delivery methodology processes, tools, and documentation. The candidate will also audit information system operational processes, and will assist clients and other Advisory professionals in performing information technology control and security engagements.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute IT audits to a variety of clients, including; IT General Controls, business process controls, and data conversions.

  • Work on multiple clients simultaneously that are difference size and complexities.

  • Collaborate with other members of the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work program timelines, risk assessments, and other planning documents.

  • Work with the audit team to document the business processes dependent on information technology.

  • Ensure high quality in client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors of engagement status, and managing staff performance.

  • Demonstrate and apply a thorough understanding of complex information systems.

  • Use knowledge of the current IT environment and industry IT trends to identify the engagement and client service issues, and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations.

  • Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services

Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in managing and/or leading projects, in IT external and/or internal audit;

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other relevant program required.

  • Possessing relevant accounting / audit designation(s) or working towards one (e.g. CPA, CIA, and/or CISA) would be an asset.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of IT auditing standards and techniques.

  • Hands on experience with project management or IT operations based in large enterprise resource planning systems such as JD Edwards, Oracle and SAP or information security would be an asset.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Willingness to travel, including travel to the U.S.
